  • Other donations

    Donations from charitable organisations and from general donations (from “major” birthdays or anniversaries and in memory of loved ones who have recently sadly passed away) have been another great area of funds received over the years. Significant donations received in 2024 and 2025 included the following donations:
  • Northern Young Farmers Mhelliah

    A very generous donation from the  Northern Young Farmers Mhelliah who recently held their annual Mhelliah. Many thanks for the donation. It is hugely appreciated.
  • Donation from Laxey Football club

    October 2024
     
    Laxey Football Club recently held a quiz night at the club and donated £375 from funds raised on the night. Many thanks to Laxey and we hope that your teams all do well this season. 
  • Donation from Michael United 

    October 2024
     
    Michael United football club haven given a donation of £300 from the proceeds of a charity raffle. Thank you and we hope that the season goes well for you . 
  • School of Rock cash collection

    October 2024 Just over £300 was collected after a performance of 'School of Rock' at the Gaiety Theatre. Joey Wylde, who plays the lead role is photographed alongside Helen Armstrong, Zena James and Steph Collier who collected the money.
  • Donation from Central Young Farmers

    We have just received a whopping donation of £4,060.80 from The Central Young Farmers who held a Mhelliah recently and the funds raised have been donated to the MS Society. Rodney & Shirley Margot received the cheque of behalf of the MS Society. Many thanks to the generous farmers.
  • Kimberley’s cake bake fundraiser

    A huge thank you to Kimberley Moore who organised yet another fundraiser for the MS Society. Kimberley's recent cake bake and silent auction with her colleagues at Standard Bank raised £1,077. 
  • Generous donation from the Peel Charity Shop

    April 2024
     
    The Peel Charity Shop gave a donation of £2,500. For many years, the Shop has given the MS Society a donation. 15 other Isle of Man charities also received a similar donation. Astonishing generosity.
